Hello My Name Is...
Ms. Madeline Obst
Welcome! My name is Ms. Obst and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. I grew up in Kelowna, B.C. and moved to Alberta in 2019. I moved here from Calgary in 2022 and I am very excited to be joining the École Routhier School community this year. When I am not teaching I love spending time outdoors hiking, camping and biking.
I attended the University of British Columbia Okanagan where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology. When I moved to Calgary I attended the University of Calgary and received my Bachelor of Education Degree.
I feel passionate about creating a welcoming and caring environment for all students. This is my first year teaching and I am looking forward to spending it with Grade 5E!
